By downloading, installing, or using the Face Off application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Face Off is an AI-powered face-swap application that allows users to apply face-swap effects to images and videos using on-device machine learning models. The App offers a free trial period and subscription-based access to full features.
FXGear grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any face used within the App — including faces of other people — is used with the explicit consent of the individual depicted. You must not use the App to process faces of others without their knowledge and consent.
You agree not to use the App to:
All content created by the App is processed and stored entirely on the user's device. FXGear does not store, host, or have access to any content created by users. As a result, FXGear is unable to remove, retrieve, or identify content on any user's device.
If you believe your likeness has been used without your consent and shared on a third-party platform, we recommend reporting it directly to that platform using their content reporting tools.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App. The App is capable of generating realistic face-swap content, which may be misused to create deceptive or harmful material. By using the App, you represent that you are 17 years of age or older, or that you have obtained verifiable parental or guardian consent if required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
FXGear maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation. The following is strictly prohibited under all circumstances:
This prohibition applies regardless of whether the content is AI-generated, synthetic, fictional, animated, or stylized, and regardless of whether it depicts a real child. A claim that the imagery "is not a real person" is not a defense.
Enforcement. Any violation of this section immediately and automatically revokes your license to use the App (see Section 13), and you must cease all use of the App. Because all processing occurs on your device and FXGear does not host user content or maintain user accounts, our enforcement centers on prevention (automated on-device content filtering), reviewing reports submitted through the App, and — where required or permitted by applicable law — preserving relevant information and reporting suspected child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate law enforcement or governmental authorities. Where a violation is associated with a subscription, we may cancel that subscription.
Reporting. If you encounter content or conduct that may involve the sexualization or exploitation of a minor, report it immediately through the in-app Report function, or by contacting support@fxgear.net with the subject line "Child Safety." Reports are reviewed promptly.
Compliance. We are committed to complying with all applicable child safety laws and with the child safety standards of the platforms through which the App is distributed.
Content produced by the App ("Output") is generated using AI models. All processing occurs entirely on your device; FXGear has no ability to access, monitor, review, or control any Output. You acknowledge that:
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may be subject to disclosure obligations under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), applicable from August 2026. In particular:
You are solely responsible for complying with applicable disclosure requirements in your jurisdiction. The App embeds EXIF metadata in saved images indicating that the content is AI-generated, but does not add visible watermarks or labels. Visible labeling, when required, is your responsibility as the distributor of the content.
All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its source code, proprietary components, graphics, and user interface, are owned by FXGear or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
You retain ownership of any images and videos you provide as input to the App. By using the App, you represent that you have all necessary rights to use such content.
The App offers a limited free trial period that allows you to preview face-swap features. During the trial, certain features such as saving results, exporting to gallery, and live camera recording are not available. When the trial expires, a subscription is required to continue using the App's core features. No subscription is automatically started at the end of the trial.
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly). You authorize Google Play to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.
All billing and refund inquiries are handled by Google Play in accordance with the Google Play refund policy. FXGear does not process refunds directly.
FXGear reserves the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
FXGear does not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FXGear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
FXGear's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FXGear, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any content you create, share, or distribute using the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you violate these Terms, your license to use the App is automatically revoked and you must cease all use of the App immediately. FXGear also reserves the right to revoke your subscription without refund in the event of a violation.
FXGear may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of Korea.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract. In particular:
